Worship - Study - Serve

We invite you to become part of our church family! We offer a variety of ministries to meet a variety of spiritual needs. In all of our ministries, we strive to glorify Jesus Christ and strengthen the believer, whether you are still exploring your faith, are a new believer, or are living out a life long relationship with Jesus Christ. We hope you can join us this week! Check out what we have to offer...

Worship

Worship is central to the life of Toulon United Methodist Church. Bible-based preaching and uplifting music are the hallmarks of worship at Toulon UMC. Our Sunday morning worship service is at 10:30 A.M. and offers a blended worship style with praise songs and hymns along with music by our adult choir. A nursery is available for those with infants and small children.

Confirmation Class is for all youth grade 7 and older who would like to explore their faith and learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and a member of the church. Field trips are also a part of this class. Our next class will be offered when there is sufficient interest to start another class. If you would like to be part of the next class and explore your faith, please contact Rev. Sidney Davis!

Serve

Music Ministry

Music is important to the life of Toulon United Methodist Church. We offer several ways to share your musical talents!

Our Adult Choir practices every Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. in the sanctuary. The choir sings most Sundays during the morning worship hour from September through May. If you enjoy singing you are invited to sing with our Adult Choir.

Our Praise Team practices every Wednesday from 7:15 - 8:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Praise Team leads the opening of worship each week. If you enjoy singing Contemporary Christian Songs or play an instrument, you are invited to join our Praise Team.

Soloists and Groups provide our music ministry on Sundays the choir doesn't sing as well as during the summer months. A wide range of music and styles enhance our worship experience on these Sundays. If you enjoy singing or playing an instrument, you are invited to use your talents for God's glory on these Sundays.

Men and women of all ages are invited to sing with us. Angie Roark is our Music Director.

Bereavement Ministry

We provide pastoral care at the time of loss.
We have a group of volunteers who provide a meal for the family at the time of the funeral/memorial service.
We partner with other Stark County churches in presenting "Grief Share" classes for those who are grieving.

Vacation Bible School

We partner with other Toulon churches for Summer Vacation Bible School. Adult and youth volunteers help with this important ministry to children.

One-on-One Outreach

We encourage all of our members to offer a glass of cold water to the thirsty, food to the hungry, comfort to the grieving, shelter to the homeless, and encouragement to those facing difficult times. Service is a day-to-day way of life for those who follow Jesus Christ!
